Based in the heart of Ipswich, Tandem is a long-running local agency with a reputation for treating job seekers and temporary workers with the respect they deserve. We appreciate that job hunting or working through an agency can be a daunting, frustrating and sometimes demoralising experience so we try to make it just that little bit easier.

Consistency - When you call Tandem you will always deal with the same experienced staff. Unlike many agencies who seem to have different consultants every few months we've been here for years and you can be assured of a familiar face if you pop back in weeks, months or years after registering when it's time to move on again.

Independence - We are privately owned and don't have to defer to 'Head Office'. We run an in-house payroll system which means that we have direct control over temporary workers' pay and holiday. We can deal with wage and holiday queries immediately and efficiently ensuring no-one ever has to chase us with a pay issue or wait weeks for their P45.

Consideration - We have a policy that we respond to every single application we receive and return every call. We don't believe in 'if you've not heard you've not been successful' - you've taken the time to apply, the least we can do is acknowledge you. We also do our best to keep jobseekers informed and go out of our way to make sure temporary workers know exactly what to expect and what is required of them.

Honesty - If we don't think we'll be able to help, or we think your skills are more suited to another agency we'll tell you. We don't make false promises, we don't keep people hanging on and we believe in telling you everything about a potential job, not just the good bits!
